We accept subject matter experts from academia, industry, and government with deep technical expertise in their field. Prior expert witness experience is a plus but not required for first-time engagements.

How are experts matched to cases?▾

Our data-driven platform uses patent records, litigation history, and IPC codes to find the best technical fit. We also manually review your background against case requirements before reaching out.

How does payment work?▾

Experts are compensated at an agreed hourly rate. Patexia handles all invoicing and payment collection from the engaging firm — you invoice us and we pay promptly.

What are my obligations once I join?▾

Joining the network has no commitment. We reach out when there's a relevant opportunity. You're always free to decline any engagement.

How is my confidentiality protected?▾

We don't reach out to experts without first vetting them for relevance and conflicts. Your identity is never disclosed to a law firm without your explicit consent, and NDAs are handled before any case details are shared.
